Orphaned Mature Christians

Am I an Orphaned Mature Christian?

A self-assessment for mature believers who still love Christ but feel spiritually displaced.

An orphaned mature Christian is not someone who has abandoned Christ, hates the Church, or seeks recognition or control. Many deeply love Christ, love the Church, and desire to serve.

Questions to Consider

Have you walked with Christ long enough to develop spiritual maturity?

Not perfection, but wisdom, discernment, faithfulness, humility, endurance, and a deeper understanding of Scripture.

Do you still desire to serve?

Despite disappointment, do you still want to invest in people, build, serve, and contribute to God's work?

Do you feel underutilized?

Do you sense that gifts and wisdom developed through years of faithful service are largely unused?

Are you seeking purpose rather than recognition?

Orphaned mature Christians are not seeking titles. They are seeking usefulness.
